Send to friendJohnnie Max “John” Forrister, 75, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Carlsbad, Calif., and Sierra Vista, Ariz., passed away quietly at home Feb.12, 2012.
John was born Sept. 6, 1936, in Hobart, Kiowa County, Okla., to Charley G. and Gertrude “Nell” (McBride) Forister, the youngest of six children.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman from 1955-1959. He worked as a Bell Telephone lineman in California.
