Carl W. Clark passed away Jan. 1, 2012, at home surrounded by family. Carl was born Feb. 20, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to Carl Wasser Clark and Grace May (Matthews) Clark.
As an only child, his parents called him Billy.
Carl was a proud Marine of WWII, as an Edson Raider, 1st Marine Division. In Korea, he lost his right eye from enemy fire. Carl’s final award was the Purple Heart and he was medically retired from the Military in 1951.
He worked for Remington Rand and received his Associates Degree from Kansas City Junior College.
