The Hubble ATA Masters Academy is hosting a ladies self defense seminar from 3:30 to 5 p.m. May 5. The cost of the seminar is a soccer ball. This weekend, Friday and Saturday, Buena students will kick up their heels and stretch their chords when they present the musical “The Pajama Game” by Richard Bissell with music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross.

Based on the novel “7 1/2 Cents” by Richard Bissell, the plot concerns the workers at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory, who have been asking for a 7 1/2 cent per hour raise. Represented by union leader Prez, their request has continually been rejected by management.
